Project Details

Sarah, the owner and lead stylist at Dick & Jane’s Salon made it very clear what she wanted in a website. She wanted something sharp, clean, without all the “flair and animation” that she noticed on many of their competitor websites.

She also wanted her small business website to “get directly to the point, without too much fluffy language”. Finally, she only wanted a limited amount imagery and though she wasn’t quite ready to sell her hair-care products online, she might want to in the in future and she wanted her customers to know the product lines that she carried “in salon”.

So we got to work creating a simple and direct-to-the-point, small business website with simple call-to-actions (CTAs), light imagery, and brief (to the point) pages.

How it helped

We built a super simple, yet sophisticated looking website for Dick-Janes.com. We used a black and white scheme with a small pop of color on each page. Even though the site is simple it still has a few bells and whistles designed create more customers.

  • It’s fully responsive and mobile friendly
  • It’s been set-up with full eCommerce capability
  • It’s built on the WordPress CMS and prepped for SEO
  • It has a drag-and-drop visual builder for easy content management

The client was extremely happy with the outcome! Telling us that we built exactly what she was looking for! As an added bonus, we completed this website in less than 3-weeks.
